Shout out to Lorain County Ohio Government in northern Ohio for providing over 6,000 community rides since starting its on-demand microtransit service in July. The pilot program in Lorain County offers riders a new way to get to work, run errands, access healthcare and more. Data shows that most trips have connected residents to essential destinations like grocery stores and community resources. To enhance service and address transportation challenges, the [San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA)](https://www.linkedin.com/company/san-francisco-municipal-transportation-agency?trk=public_post_embed-text) recently launched the Bayview Shuttle, providing on-demand, door-to-door rides in Bayview-Hunters Point—one of San Francisco's most underserved neighborhoods. The shuttle connects residents to key destinations, including the 22nd St Caltrain Station and 24th St/Mission BART Station, expanding travel options across the city. The program also includes a transportation resource center and workforce development initiatives, offering Bayview residents training opportunities for careers at Muni.
